In the hustle of our daily lives we don’t often take the time to stop and appreciate the present moment. Instead we often find ourselves lost in thought where we are either ruminating over the past or worrying about the future. When we spend most of our time living in these unbeneficial states of the mind we often end up feeling distressed, dissatisfied, or discontented about our life. This in turn can often begin to affect not only our mental health but also our physical health as well.
The good news is that there is a practice and a path where we can learn to let go of these unskilful habits of the mind and retrain ourselves to live more in the present moment. This is the path and practice of Mindfulness Meditation.
By now, many people are familiar with the concept of mindfulness meditation and perhaps some have tried it at some point in their lives. However, it is often the case that most people give up on developing a daily habit of meditation and are unable to cultivate a fruitful and lasting practice. The reason most people give up on meditation is that they have not received clear and comprehensive instructions that are based in the authentic methods of mindfulness.
At Noble Pathways our meditation teacher has over 15 yrs of academic study and traditional practice in art and therapy of Mindfulness Meditation. Having been certified through Tibet House he brings authentic teachings from a lineage of meditation masters from Tibet.
Noble Pathways provides opportunities to study and practice with this teacher. Those who are beginners and just want to understand the basics can follow the Noble Pathways Health and Wellness Channel on youtube and get basic instructions.
For those who wish to develop their personal practice and receive one-on-one personal instructions, they can begin the 6 week Authentic Foundations of Mindfulness Program and can contact Noble Pathways to begin the process.
